Safety and 911 Dialing Tips

Emergency Number: Dial 9-1-1

When you dial 9-1-1, your call will be answered by an operator at the E-911 facility in Williston, Vermont where your phone number and street address will appear on their computer display. That address will be used by emergency responders to find your house. In an emergency, minutes could save a life. Please post your street address so that it can easily be read, even on a moonless night with four to five foot snowbanks along the road.
